Karma Rage: soCiym
04/02/13 || Cobal
Karma Rage play a very enjoyable form of thrash. While harmonically this kind of music is per se limited, you can always go for rhythmic arrangements to upgrade it. Ask these Ukranians if not. Although this ain’t no attempt to be labeled as technical, ‘tis quite clear to me “soCiym” can be appreciated for its display of well-grounded musicianship. I didn’t understand shit of the lyrics as they are shouted in their native tongue, a feature many may find off-putting. Still, I feel some authenticity in them, not that fake badassness I’m so fed up with. After all, I’ll keep this for my personal stock of exhilarating music.
8/10: Not bad. I could have rated it higher if it were an EP.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
